Water Rescues

MFFD, February 07

Miller's Ferry FD responded to numerous water rescues throughout the weekend due to the significant rain over the past few days. Traffic Accident w/ Pin In

MFFD, September 30

At approximately 06:00 hours crews were dispatched to a traffic accident w/ possible Pin In at the 1500 blk of Long Ferry Road. Rescue 64 arrived on scene and confirmed a single vehicle accident with one patient pinned. Rescue 64 requested Salisbury Rescue 2 to respond and assist. MFFD Crews recently participated in it's ISO Inspection on May 14th & 15th. This inspection takes place every 5-8 years. The Miller's Ferry FD was able to lower their ISO score to a Class 3. More details to follow... (Full Story & Photos)

M/A Structure Fire

MFFD, August 26

Early in the AM crews were dispatched to a reported house fire in ESFD first due. First arriving crews arrived on scene to find a single story residential with heavy fire involvement. Crews pulled multiple lines and prepared the aerial for a defensive operation. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes. Command later released all mutual aid units.
