Early in the AM crews were dispatched to a reported house fire in ESFD first due. First arriving crews arrived on scene to find a single story residential with heavy fire involvement. Crews pulled multiple lines and prepared the aerial for a defensive operation. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes. Command later released all mutual aid units. Engine 643 cleared the scene and returned to service.
