At approximately 15:29 crews were dispatched to a reported traffic accident with injury at the 79000 block of South I 85. As crews begin to respond communications advised that they were receiving multiple calls that it was going to be at the 76000 block, and it was being upgraded to a traffic accident w/ pin in. Salisbury Rescue 1 & Engine 643 arrived on the scene and confirmed we had a multiple vehicle accident with one confirmed entrapped. Rescue 1 personnel along with Eng. 643 crew deployed a protection line. Once protection line was pulled crews begin to stabilize the vehicle, and begin extrication. Rescue 64 arrived on the scene and assisted with patient care and extrication. Salisbury Battalion 1 arrived on the scene and established command. Crews had the patient free of the vehicle within 10 minutes. Once patient was free they were turned over to Rowan EMS.
