Miller’s Ferry Fire Department is now hiring full-time Fire Engineers.  If you are at least 21 years of age, we encourage you to fill out an application. The application process will be open for at least 60 days. 

 General Steps in the Application Process:

1. Upon completing the MFFD application, the department will require the applicants to undergo a license and criminal history check.

2. The application will then go for review & selection process to be considered for the next step in the hiring process.

3. Once applicant selections have been made, you will be contacted to schedule your dates and times for practice agility test & pump practicals.

4. An assessment of all accepted applicants will be scheduled for the final agility test, pump practicals, and interviews.

5. Conditional job offer notification will be made to selected individual(s).
