At approximately 09:00 hours crews were dispatched to a reported commercial structure fire at the 400 block of S Salisbury Ave. at the Family Dollar. Spencer Chief 750 arrived on the scene with light smoke showing interior. Spencer Engine 751 arrived on the scene and laid a 5" supply line for precaution. Salisbury Ladder 1 and Engine 751 entered the structure for investigation. Millers Ferry Engine 643 arrived on the scene and assisted with getting PPV fan ready. Ellis Engine 481 arrived on the scene and staged at a secondary water supply. Crews located the source, and begin ventilating the structure. Once the structure was ventilated and monitored all units cleared the scene. Engine 643 returned to service.
