| Crews responded mutual aid for a working structure fire on E. Innes St. at Okie Dokies. Engine 643 responded along with multiple units from all over to assist on the commercial structure fire. Engine 643 arrived on the scene and established a water supply to South Salisbury Ladder 74. Once water supply was established a backup line was put together on the "C" side as precautionary. Miller's Ferry crew and Spencer FD crew teamed up on the "A" side of the structure and begin assisting with overhaul & checking for extension. Crews remained on the scene for multiple hours. Engine 643 returned to service at approximately 20:00 hours
While returning to quarters Engine 643 was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire at the 81000 Blk of N I 85. Engine 643 arrived on the scene with a single passenger vehicle smoking under the hood. Crews extinguished a small fire under the hood and went under control. Engine 643 returned to service at 20:45 |
