At approximately 21:00 hours crews were dispatched to a reported structure fire at Long St and Torbush Drive. While en route communications called back and said that the fire was possibly located on Railroad Street. Salisbury Ladder 1 arrived on the scene and confirmed a working fire from a single story structure, and that we would be in a defensive mode. Spencer Engine 751 arrived on the scene & established a water supply. A 2 1/2" line was pulled for fire attack on the "C" side of the structure. Miller's Ferry Engine 643 came in off of Earnhardt St. and pulled in front of the structure, and hit with a deck gun. Once bulk of the fire was knocked down crews from Union Fd, and East Spencer FD assisted with overhaul and extinguishment. Crews were under control with a knock down in approximately 20 minutes. It was confirmed that it was a vacant structure.
