Miller's Ferry Fire Department is a community organization made up of community members of all ages and backgrounds. As we rely heavily on our members throughout the community, we do receive support and help from surrounding communities, the county of Rowan, the county of  Davidson, the cities of Spencer, Salisbury, and if needed, all fire departments in the county.  We also receive support with administrative issues from several statewide organizations.

 

As the different links above show many options for a person’s skills and service we are confident that we can find a place for anyone who would like to be part.   Weather you can give a hand in time of need to your neighbor if needed in medical or fire services, or you can serve in the administrative and governing body of the fire department, please feel free to contact us.

The membership of  Millers Ferry Fire Department is currently at our highest number of volunteers ever.  Currently with 34 active members and the largest junior program in our region with a maximum number of fifteen we currently have a few more than that.

 

We currently have a waiting list to bring on new firefighters.  Please come by on the first Tuesday of the month to be placed on the list or check for a current opening.
